Speaker: Randy Chittum

As a business leader in the non-profit community you formulate vision, identify possibilities and determine direction daily. Attend this session to understand and consider the relationship between leading culture in your organization and improving its effectiveness. Many of us are familiar with the saying “culture eats strategy for lunch.” As planning and prediction become less reliable in the complex and uncertain environments in which we work, you’ll want to attend this luncheon to see that “who we are” becomes an important key to understanding organizational capability.

Learning Outcomes: Attendees will:

  • Recognize the relationship between organizational culture and effectiveness
  • Apply the Cynefin model to understand complexity and the changing role of leadership
  • Recognize the impacts of “fear” and “safety” on organizational effectiveness
  • Identify new capacities needed for effective leadership

When: Wednesday, March 15, 2017 | 11:15 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Where:
Capital Hilton
Room: Congressional (Note: Updated Room)
1001 16th Street, NW
