The decisions to move an organization, to reconfigure space, to take on more space or to reduce your footprint are usually made when a lease is about to expire. If you’re lucky, the details of the change may be spelled out after a thorough needs analysis. But even then, managing the project from beginning to end, solving the problems that come up and maximizing unexpected opportunities takes on a bigger scope than keeping track of the budget. Hear from three CFO’s how they approached and survived their recent changes in space. Joe DeSalvio, CFO of Association of Financial Professionals, Ana Molina, CFO of the Entertainment Software Association, and Rick Klein, formerly at National Association of Manufacturers, will share their stories and suggestions in a panel discussion moderated by Dave Keen, CFO of the American Psychiatric Association and former FAR Chair.

Learning Outcomes: Attendees will:

  • Identify decisions points for a successful change in organization space
  • Recognize the impact of location and configuration on mission, branding and budget
  • Appreciate the leader’s role in securing support of Board and input from staff
  • Identify changes in business operations related to the office space
