Description: Many associations and nonprofits are put at risk because of a lack of knowledge and formal training in the management of their political action. Explore strategies for political action, management and oversight through real life cases, and solution oriented discussion. Critical topics addressed will include: Complying with IRS and FEC guidelines, identifying PAC expenditures that may be paid by connected organizations, and establishing internal policies and controls to mitigate the risk of noncompliance by associations, nonprofits and PACs.
